Digital Transformation in Education with Libraries: Redefining Learning in the 21st Century

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has significantly transformed the educational landscape across the world. Libraries, traditionally considered repositories of books and printed knowledge, are now emerging as dynamic digital learning hubs that support innovation, research, and lifelong learning. Digital transformation in education has reshaped teaching methodologies, access to information, communication systems, and knowledge dissemination. Academic and public libraries play a central role in this transformation by integrating information and communication technologies (ICT), digital resources, e-learning platforms, institutional repositories, artificial intelligence, and cloud-based services into educational environments. This paper examines the evolving role of libraries in digital education and explores how they contribute to redefining learning in the 21st century.
